The Challenge:
Showcase all the daily touchpoint opportunities that a Health Care Provider (HCP) has with the brand. And make it fun!
The Solution:
Stop motion animation. With Lego.
We wanted a fun video to present the client with ideas for a multi channel marketing presentation. With very little budget to film, live action and locations were not an option. Animation was deemed necessary, and after some concepting, stop motion was the winner, even though I had never made a stop motion short before.
I built sets and props from my own Lego supply, and took a field trip to the Lego Store to do some "casting" for health care mini figures and patients. I took a day to run test shots and lighting setup, as well as to draw the backgrounds. It took 3 days to shoot all the stills, and then another 2 days to edit and get audio recorded.
This ended up better than I thought it would and was a lot of fun to bring to life.
