My little girl has the biggest, prettiest blue eyes in the world. We get compliments all the time on her eyes. They really do seem to take up half her face like an anime character. She also has a thing for owls - any books that we have read her that have owls in them have been an instant hit.

I wanted to illustrate the letters of her first name in a series, so the owl was a natural for the letter O in her name. I still have to create the other letters, but for now she gets a big smile and goes "Who, whooooo" when I ask her what the owl says.
